Chethana Vaisali S. is a final year undergraduate in Computer Science Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. She has been passionate about technology since childhood and is currently interested in the fields of Computer Vision and Deep Learning, with a focus on their applications in Medical Imaging. Chethana believes that automation can help save considerable time in understanding medical data, making it more accessible and useful. Apart from her interest in Medical Imaging, Chethana has also worked on projects in Operating Systems, Number Theory and Cryptography, Data Communications, Wireless Networks, and more. She is always eager to explore new fields and technologies. Chethana has interned at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, where she worked on the Pseudo-location project. The project aimed to find the indoor location of a user, which is often important in many scenarios where GPS cannot be used. Currently, Chethana is a Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce, where she brings her experience in Software Engineering, Python, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Mobile, and Spring to the table.
